TUNNEL CITY COFFEE HOSTS LOCAL ARTISTS FOR FALL SHOWS:

Artists Robert Lafond and Jane Hudson exhibit landscape and abstract paintings at Tunnel City Coffee’s cafe locations this fall. Lafond displays landscape paintings inspired by his home of Williamstown, MA, as well as scenes from New England, France and other locales, at Tunnel City Coffee’s 100 Spring St. location in downtown Williamstown. Hudson displays her show, “Illumination,” a collection of vibrant abstract pieces , at Tunnel City Coffee at MASS MoCA for the fall season. The show features works from her latest Alchemical series and makes use of bold colors and shapes as a metaphor for personal evolution.

Robert Lafond's landscape paintings are on display at Tunnel City Coffee in downtown Williamstown, MA through fall 2019.

Lafond studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and worked for twenty years at the Princeton University Art Museum. He has shown his paintings at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Southern Vermont Arts Center, the Canfield Gallery, and the Bryan Memorial Gallery, among others. His pastel and oil paintings focus largely on Brooklyn streets and the rural Berkshires.

Jane Hudson's abstract paintings are on display at Tunnel City Coffee at MASS MoCA through fall 2019.

Hudson is a painter, National Endowment for the Arts award winning video artist, musical composer and performer, and spent years teaching at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She has shown her paintings at the Atlantic Gallery, Nielsen Gallery, Segal Gallery, and The Left Bank, as well as other local galleries.

Jane Hudson's work is on display at Tunnel City Coffee at MASS MoCA through the fall season, and Robert Lafond's work is on display at Tunnel City Coffee in downtown Williamstown. All work is available for in store purchase.
